In this video I show how to fix the problem where Outlook opens then closes immediately. A lot of people having been having problems with Microsoft Outlook crashing with error 0xc0000005. The problem with Outlook crashing when trying to open it was caused by a bad Microsoft Outlook update, and in this video I show you how to rollback to a previous version of Microsoft Outlook update that works without any problems.
Open Search and search for Command Prompt
Right Click on Command Prompt and select “Run As Administrator”
Click “Yes” to the security warning
Here is the command to copy and paste to the command prompt: “C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe” /update user updatetoversion=16.0.12827.20470
Press the ENTER key after you paste this onto the command prompt
Once Outlook is updated, you can run Outlook again without it crashing.
